On 16th June 2016, Alessandro Fabbrizzi, Life REWAT project coordinator, took part in the conference organised in Certosa of Calci "From city planning to landscaping. The old and the new in the area good governance".

Fabbrizzi presented Life REWAT project and its 5 interventions with the expected results. The five interventions are: set up of a Managed Aquifer Recharge facility; river restoration of a Cornia river reach; water- saving intervention in the civil water supply sector; water - saving intervention in agricolture and sewage reuse from purifier located in Campiglia Marittima.

Another important part of Life REWAT is the basin contract: it aims to involve all the subjects interested in the good practice sharing to safeguard the Cornia Valley.
